About
"You're five foot nothing. A hundred and nothing. And you've got hardly a speck of athletic ability. You hung in with the best college football team in the land for two years. And you're gonna walk out of here with a degree from Notre Dame. In this life you don't have to prove nothing to nobody except yourself. And after what you've gone through, if you haven't done that by now...it ain't gonna never happen." - from Rudy

The official site of Major League Baseball has posted a very positive review of Sean’s new movie on their website. They call the film “charming”, and they hope that it will become as popular as that “other” Iowa baseball movie Field of Dreams.

In this new movie — directed by David Mickey Evans of “Sandlot” and premiering this weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York — the sport and the state are the only real similarities. It is about a little town called Norway (enrollment barely 100) and its real-life 1991 high school baseball team. Amazingly, this school had produced 19 state champions, consistently beating larger schools, and a mecca for scouts. Nearly half of Norway’s baseball players went on to college ball, and of those, 16 made it to the Majors. But that ‘91 season was the last because of school consolidations, and let’s just say that these guys went out in style.

It’s wonderful to see the positive buzz building!
