About
"You're five foot nothing. A hundred and nothing. And you've got hardly a speck of athletic ability. You hung in with the best college football team in the land for two years. And you're gonna walk out of here with a degree from Notre Dame. In this life you don't have to prove nothing to nobody except yourself. And after what you've gone through, if you haven't done that by now...it ain't gonna never happen." - from Rudy

‘Final Season’ Aims for Summer Release
Filed under: Sean, Family — Chelle @ 7:26 pm

Look for Sean’s high school baseball movie The Final Season to hit theaters this July or August. That’s according to producer Carl Borack who talked to the Gazette Online. There are also some words from the real Kent Stock, whom Sean portrays in the movie:

Kent Stock of Marion, who coached the 1991 team and is played by Sean Astin in the movie, went to Los Angeles twice to view “Final Season,” including a special screening for cast and crew. He said Friday that he’s “thrilled” with the result.

“It looks great,” said Stock, 45, now principal of Oak Ridge School. “What amazed me the most is that people may call this a baseball movie, but really it can speak to all audiences. It’s a good movie that happens to have baseball in it.”

Can’t wait to see the finished product!
