About
"You're five foot nothing. A hundred and nothing. And you've got hardly a speck of athletic ability. You hung in with the best college football team in the land for two years. And you're gonna walk out of here with a degree from Notre Dame. In this life you don't have to prove nothing to nobody except yourself. And after what you've gone through, if you haven't done that by now...it ain't gonna never happen." - from Rudy

Couple of Updates

More information on Sean’s new movie Forever Strong coming from the Salt Lake Tribune. He’s not playing a coach this time. He’s a counselor. :)

In the movie Patrick becomes Rick, a troubled teen who is convicted of drunk driving and sentenced to a juvenile detention center in Utah, where he meets a counselor (Sean Astin from “The Lord of the Rings”) who gets him a tryout with the Highland team. Under the tutelage of [Coach] Gelwix, played by Gary Cole (Will Ferrell’s dad in “Tallageda Nights”), Rick turns his life around in time to face his old team, which is coached by his disapproving father.

And more information on the Jeremiah comic book sequel can be found here. It looks as if they’re going to release online what art has been done so far, while they attempt to find an artist to finish up the pages. Personally, I wouldn’t mind it if it were unfinished graphically wise. Perhaps the rest of the story could be put online as well, even without the artwork, I’m sure it would still be compelling. Of course, I have no idea how writing for comics works, and the entire idea might be unfeasible.

Be sure to visit the Jeremiah Fan Portal for updates!
